Fridge Triticale

Fridge Triticale is a time tested, tall variety that has excellent winter survivability, and is also widely adapted to all cereal growing areas of the U.S. Fridge Triticale is the benchmark by which newer varieties are measured.  

Strong stems, dark green foliage, and long, awnletted heads are trademarks of the Fridge Triticale variety. These awnletted heads make Fridge Triticale very suitable for hay and silage production. 

With its tall height, Fridge Triticale can produce ample tons of high quality forage per acre. The field in the above picture was chopped for silage at a local dairy. They reported to us a yield of 30 tons per acre!
